Trump's Second Endorsement for Netanyahu Warns of Solo U.S. Iran Strikes
The president's Sunday post urges voters to keep Netanyahu in power, threatening that America will handle the confrontation with Iran alone if he loses.

Israeli voters head to the polls in days, but U.S. President Donald Trump has intervened in the race one more time. On Sunday evening, Trump published a post on Truth Social endorsing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the second time during this campaign cycle.
The message centers on a specific threat: if Israel elects a leader other than Netanyahu, the United States will act unilaterally against Iran. Trump wrote that if Israel chooses the wrong leader, America will have to do the job itself. He noted that he is not inclined to take on that burden alone. The Jerusalem Post clarified that this remark refers to the ongoing confrontation with Iran.
Trump praised Netanyahu's performance in military operations, specifically citing Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury. He described the two leaders as having been winning together. The post concluded with a direct instruction to Israeli voters to cast their ballots for Netanyahu to finish the job that they started.
This endorsement follows reports that Netanyahu intensified his efforts to secure new support from Washington earlier on Sunday. Two American sources told The Jerusalem Post that Netanyahu and his allies within Trump's inner circle increased pressure on the president to issue fresh statements. One source described the prime minister's behavior as showing signs of political desperation, a characterization they said was unusual for Netanyahu.
Axios reported additional details about the diplomatic push over the last three days. According to that account, Trump and Netanyahu spoke twice. Netanyahu reportedly suggested specific wording for new endorsements and proposed that Trump speak directly with Israeli journalists to reaffirm his support.
The timing of the post aligns with the reported urgency from the prime minister's camp. The message combines praise for Netanyahu's wartime record with a warning about the diplomatic and military consequences of a different election outcome.
